This happened about a month ago after my Mach E had been to the dealer for the software update.
A day or two later, after the update appeared to be complete, I drove to a busy store and parked. I was in 1-pedal driving mode. When I came back to the car after, I shifted into drive with my foot on the brake. When I took my foot off the car immediately started reversing (quickly as my foot was completely off the brake) and luckily I went into autopilot and steered it properly out of the parking spot. It really surprised me and I hadn't checked any rearview mirrors, didn't know if traffic was coming or pedestrians etc.
I believe something from the update reset while I was in the store and the car defaulted out of 1-pedal driving. (As it had done this right when we first did the update). So be careful if you use 1-pedal driving, it may switch off unexpectedly!
