With Ford planning to launch the F150 EV as its very first all-electric pickup truck around 2021-2022, we might also see the Mach-E line up grow to include a pickup. This Mach-T would be a cool addition. Yeah, it might overlap with the F150 EV a bit, but utility vehicle sales have grown so much that it could work.

See it as an EV pickup that sits under the electric F150, Ranger-sized and not as wild as this rendering

Thoughts?

Just no. I'd seriously think about buying it but would rather it be a Ranger instead.

Nice, someone should really try to convert one of these into a pickup.

It was done to a Tesla recently...

I've heard rumor from an inside source of a BEV Maverick Pickup. The Maverick has been leaked as the Bronco Sport pickup.

Nice looking concept. But people are already up in arms over the MachE carrying the Mustang legacy. Add a pickup truck? Ford factory would be burned down!

I can see this Electric Mach-family becoming the Global version of what the Ford Falcon was in Australia. And I like that thought. I feel like a Mach T (if made) would take the place of the Falcon ute although it would retain a 2+2 seating configuration with a short bed and fastback design. The fastback design would be basically just flying buttresses similar to the design of the 68-70 Charger with a short 4.5ft bed. a hard bed cover with a rear spoiler would be standard. A wide body RS AWD variant with 500hp would be a great option as well.
