Android phone goes silent on first couple tries for calls

I have a 2021 premium extended battery AWD and every time I try to call someone on phone I can't hear them. They say they can here me, this has been going on for weeks since the apple phone update. It worked fine before the update. If people call me, it works, but not the other way around. I've tried disconnecting my phone a few times and reconnecting it, but that doesn't help.
Does anyone else know how to help with this? I love the car, but am frustrated 🥴

I also have the exact same problem with my 2021 AWD extended battery with my Android phone.
We have a 2021 early CR1 (VIN ending in 01136) and both of us have Samsung S20 phones and we are having the same problem. I have been reluctant to take to the dealer for fear they will keep the car and still not be able to diagnose or out and out blame the phone. If anyone finds a fix please let us know.
Same issue with my 21 using either a Google Pixel or Samsung Z.
same shit over here. it started with a recent update. Annoying as sin. I basically immediately hang up and call again or toggle the bluetooth on my phone if stopped.
So the work around for this is to click on handset than back to Bluetooth when the call is going through
