I am using a home charger and up until a recent major software update, I could check the charge status approximately by looking at which of the blue lights at the charging port was blinking. Now none of them come on when I am charging, so I have to check my phone or get in the car to determine the status. It's not a huge deal, but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if there is a way to fix it so that the blue ring of lights start working again at the charging port.

When I plug my charger in to my car yesterday the only lights came on was the orange lights on the unit, no blue lights was on. Tried unplugging the the unit a couple of time and no go. Went and got my 110v plug and plugged it in and the unit went to the blue and was charging. Put my 240 plug back into the unit and everything went back to normal and charged up good.

I just had this issue recently. I first tried disconnecting and reconnecting the 12v battery and the issue was corrected. I called Ford and they recommended what you did; plug in 110volt charger to reset the system and the higher voltage charging should be OK. They also recommended seeing the dealer to have the vehicle checked out. The dealer reinstalled the vehicle software and I have had no furhter issues.

I have had the same issue after the last update. It also increased my home charging level to 100%. I have managed to reset that, but there is no indication on the car that it is charging, let alone the level of charge. I tried the 110 volt charger to reset the system but it did not do anything. do I need to go to dealer to re install the software?
