I wanted to highlight a design feature I'm pleased Ford engineers included. If you're trying to determine the charge status of the Mach E at a quick glance, you can just look at the charge port indicator lights. A lot of EVs don't have any sort of charge port indicator light like this.

I was thinking the same thing. It's a small thing, and a little silly, but also very handy... if not just "neat"

I agree, I really like that they included this. It's nice that you don't have to check everything through FordPass app or through the infotainment screen.

A set of three lights on the dash of my Nissan Leaf, visible inside and out, do the same thing. It's very handy. At a glance they tell you if it is connected and charging, in the bottom, middle or top 1/3rd of the charging process, or if you connected and are in "timed charging" mode that will kick in later.
