My dealer called me within a couple of days. Others have posted that their experiences range from no contact to their dealer sending them a glossy brochure. As for changing dealers, you can change that and the trim level, color, drive, battery size, etc when it comes time to actually place the order.
I haven't heard from mine either and I chose it because it was nearby and one of the larger lots. Maybe I needed to pick a smaller one that might actually care more about my business. I keep thinking about going over and seeing what's up.
I haven't heard from mine, but I'm not exactly sure what I would expect them to say to me? I likely have more info than they do at this point. Rather them only contact me when they have new info or have something we need to discuss. Don't really need the extra fluff.
It’s about time I circle back and contact mine again to find out if they charge ADM and if they accept X-plan pricing. They called me the morning after the launch to congratulate me. Of course, I get emails every time they have a sale as they reach out to try to sell me an ICE.
I think Ford is eager to get this going as well and the dealers are probably just waiting to get the go-ahead from corporate. There's a whole system in place that's new for the Mach-E including some new lease-type offering. So that's likely holding things up.
When I talked to the marketing guy at Ford he said everyone would hear "soon." I expect in Q1.. so that really just leaves one more month.
Will the seats on production models be the same as on the prototypes? In my opinion after sitting in a prototype, the front seats seems a bit short and flat with limited side support. Could we expect/hope for any improvements?
