I am sitting on the proverbial counseling couch seeking advice from fellow Mach-Ers. It’s a good problem, I just don’t know which way to go and need your recommendations. Here’s the scoop:
1. In September 2022 I ordered a new 2022 Mach-E Premium AWD Ext in Rapid Red with Space Gray interior. That obviously became a 2023 model as the production dates extended Into April.
2. In October 2022, I found a new 2022 Mach-E Premium AWD Ext in Triple White with Space Gray interIor at a dealer in Louisville and purchased it at above list (but eligible for 2022 $7500 tax credit!). Shipped to car to my house and have enjoyed the car ever since. Never thought I would want a white car but I love this color. And reinforced how much I LOVE the Mach-E!
3. The April 10th production week actual held and I received notice today that my car is shipping with a late-May arrival to the dealer. The sticker is at $63,290 with delivery at the new lower pricing.
So the question is - do I stick with my 2022 with 3,000 miles and pass on the 2023. Or do I upgrade to the new 2023 and trade in my 2022? I like both colors. I appreciate the advice!
