New to this forum- thanks for being gentle :)

Do after-market extension cords work for home charging? Ie a 48A 20 ft extension cord (cant share links right now.)

Bottom line, I need about 30 feet to connect my Mach-E. I have the complimentary Ford Charge Station Pro - and enough power in my main panel- but I need a longer cord than the 20 ft. I am investigating solutions like trenching power further from my house to cover the long distance - then installing the ford station- but that sounds like a nightmare and it would be great if extension cords are the solution. Thanks!

Yes, I bought a 30' extension cord and I am using the charger that came with the car to charge my car on a 40amp outlet. I had a juicebox with a longer cord but it stopped working and this was my fix until I found something better but it's been working fine and I don't see a reason to spend more money on another charger. I also bought the 20' cord and had to send it back to Amazon and get the longer one.
