One thing I'd like to learn more about when it comes to EVs is how similar/different their maintenance is to regular ICE cars/SUVs.

Does anyone have any good videos or articles they can share with me? Thanks in advance!

Doesn't the battery pack have a liquid cooling system and that fluid needs to exchanged every two years? Or is it 50,000 miles?

Are you asking about the Bolt? If so, the owner's manual says 5 years or 150K miles for changing the battery coolant. Other than that, only the normal stuff, like tire rotation, windshield wiper replacement, etc.

True story: The Stealership Maintenance Department will still recommend "brake service" at 30K miles for an EV. ;)

You have an EV?
Yes, Bolt EV.

No, heard this happened to 2 people so far bringing in their Bolt to their Chevy dealer for tire rotation (the only item needed) and service department claims a brake service is needed urgently. haha

Should check the Ford forums to see if any Ford dealerships pull this scam on hybrid and plug in hybrid car owners. ;)

This is great stuff, thanks for the help guys! Glad to see your EVs have given you no problems. How much would it roughly cost to change the battery coolant?
