We’ve had our 2023 MME GT since about October 2023 and now have 14594 miles on it. we had one early serious fault in January 2024 that bricked the car and it took 2 weeks to fix. Since that issue the car has run without any problems. This morning on the Ford Pass App and on the dashboard screen there was a warning/caution for Electrical System Drain and a ford pass app notice to plug in to maintain 12v battery. The car was parked overnight with 53% state of charge indicated on the high voltage battery. The other ford app notice indicated a 12v drain due to aftermarket parts being installed, but we don’t have any of those.
Our local ford dealership can’t look at it until Monday, 4 days from now, they said to plug it in and not worry about it and bring it in on Monday.
We purchased the Gold ESP with rental coverage because I was / am concerned that I just don’t know enough about EVs.
I guess I’ll plug it in and drive it as necessary as the wheelchair for my mother in law doesn’t fit in our Mustang GT trunk.
