Error with plug iand charge

Last week I got 17 messages saying plug and charge was no longer available. I didn’t think anything of it because my home charging worked just fine. Today I’m on a road trip and plugged into Electrify America to access the remaining free charging that I have and of course, plug and charge is not available. And it won’t come on. Anyone have this problem or any ideas on how to fix it?

Open Ford Pass app and select Vehicle at the bottom. Expand Charging. There should be a box for Blue Oval Charge Network. Select it. Expand Plug & Charge. Make sure Plug & Charge is toggled on.

I had a similar issue, I called electrify America (while at the charger) and they helped solved it. there is basically a setting in the FordPass app that seem to get switched off when an update happened, I apologize but I can't remember exactly what they told me to do at the time. I kind of was freaking out because I was far from home and needed to have the charge ignorer to get home. The person at EA was super nice and made sure the issue was resolved.

Yes that was it, Richard.

Thank you! I’ll start there.

I should have specified that I can’t turn it back on. I tried this first. I do not have the option to toggle it back on. Hence the problem.
You will most likely have to call Ford but verify the following. Go to Account in Ford Pass app and open Connected Services. BlueOval Charge Network should be listed and show as Active along with your remaining balance.

It is. I have a balance.
Last thing I can think of is make sure a payment method is set up in Connected Services.

Thanks. It is.
Please post when you get it resolved. Thanks.

So I deleted my credit card and reinstalled and it worked so not sure what the problem was. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Richard I'm so glad I read this post...my plug and share toggle was off. I toggled it on and now it up and running. I would have been pissed if I couldn't charge due to this issue
Thanks
