Here's a fun idea.

Ford sells crate motors for hobbyists and others who have a classic car or rolling chassis that needs an engine. From what I know, in the US, Ford sells many eight-cylinder crate motors while in the UK and Europe the market is more six-cylinder and four-cylinder crate motors. Some of these motors are provided to small sports car manufacturers, including Caterham, Ginetta, and others.

What if Ford could replace all of these engines with the performance of Mach-E electric motors + battery? Sell an EV crate motor package. No manufacturer is offering this yet.

This would be great, but they don’t have enough to meet their own production demands.
