Increasing numbers of people moving to ICE SUV's and crossovers is a big positive for the Mach-E:

Wholesale product shipments in China were up 22% as the company’s mix of SUVs increased 13 points, to 36%. That strength was driven by locally built versions of the Explorer, Escape, and the luxury Lincoln Aviator and Corsair, and represented the third quarter in a row of yearover-year gains in market share. The third quarter also was the second straight of EBIT improvement.

Good read here for anyone wondering how Mach-E sales in China will play out:

The Mach-E sales numbers in China are going to be so key. It's crazy how much they love EVs there.

I think it will sell very well in China. Idk about that correlating to earnings, though, since the Mach-E would be produced by Changan Ford (JV) in China, and therefore Ford would effectively only see their share of profit distributions from the JV. It's going to be impossible for us to pull the Mach-E's impact on Ford's finances out from the rest of their unconsolidated JV activity in China.
