Front Camera Fault/Pre-Collision Assist not working (In shop FIVE times)

Has anyone else had this issue? It also means that adaptive lane control and blue cruise suddenly stop working.

Mine has now been in the shop FIVE times to fix it. They've replaced the front camera, the driver camera (that sees if your eyes are on the road) and made various software upgrades. Sometimes, due to Ford Corp's service being down, they've had to keep it two days.

I love my car, but this is getting ridiculous. Has anyone else had this problem and actually gotten it fixed?

I have had the same issue and my MachE is scheduled to go back to the dealership mid March for the third time just for this issue.

We've also had this same issue THREE times. We've been without the car for weeks as they they try to fix it, say it's fixed, then return it to us and as we are driving home, the camera default alert comes on. It's getting ridiculous.
same problem with front camera fault....in Rhode Island that gives way to Lemon law and dealer has to replace vehicle or refund your purchase price after 3 failed attempts to repair....Ford is also aware of this problem....
I want to know more. I’m planning on taking my vehicle to the dealer while I’m out of town. Has anyone had any success with what a dealer has done. I’m trying to make it as easy as possible for them. It seems like software modules are the issue. Is there proof that Ford is aware of this problem and how do I go about applying for a lemon law.? I don’t really enjoy driving this car without the features as it was promised. Please help!

The dealership is Lindsay Ford in Silver Spring, MD. Sometimes also listed as Wheaton, MD
You need to hold your mouse over the Ford picture and click "message". Then you can send the VIN and dealer info (not on the public forum).

it took a week and a half. but maybe your mechanic is faster. We have had no more faults since they changed the electrical harnesses to the main computers.

I am getting ready to take mine back in after leaving it at the dealer all day yesterday to “fix it.” This was after trey had it for a full day last week when they determined they needed to order a part to “fix it.” Of course, I got the same front camera error message when driving home from the dealer yesterday. This is ridiculous! I’m so disappointed @Ford Motor Company
I had the problem at my 10,000 check up and they could not resolve. They saw error codes unrelated. Told me to keep track . I have now had 4 -5 recurrences where front camera and adaptive collision alerts have occurred. I need to bring it in again.

Same issue. Multiple times at Dealer. No resolution

I wonder if your dealer has communicated this fix to corporate. There are SO MANY of us waiting on this. Ours has been in shop 4 times over this as well. Tonight the fault became “permanent” - the camera isn’t resetting after 60-90 seconds. about to go on a driving vacation with ZER0 Cruise control
I’ve just taken mine back to the shop for the 4th time. They have replaced the camera, software upgrades, recall updates and now the dealership is telling me Ford has told them they’ve done everything they can do. The dealership still hasn’t corrected the problem.
