I believe is a release in case a child is trapped in the fronk. I know it is a requirement to have an internal release inside a trunk.

That's correct. That release was pointed out during the demo at the Washington Auto Show.

Resurrecting this thread for the continuation of the Frunk discussions.

last we heard, @timbop stated that the frunk dividers can be removed with a pair of push-pin pliers.

Interesting. I thought they just sat in there, I dont like the idea of not being able to quickly remove them if I want to (tool-less).
