Hello all, I'm in southern California. I own an environmental consulting company I started 28 years ago, but have not fallen for the "global warming" hoax. The appeal of this vehicle is the performance, not too small, not too big size, and mechanical simplicity. I currently drive a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland V8 with 117,000 miles on it which has had over $8,000 charged to the lifetime warranty. It replaced my 2006 Ford Explorer V8, the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned, sold when it had 163,000 miles on it. My wife and I both liked our 1994 Ford Thunderbird. I also had a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer V8 which was nice, but rode too roughly. My first car, bought used when my brother and I were in high School, was a 1970 American motors AMX, replaced with a 1979 Trans Am. Rima and I also currently own a wonderful 2017 BMW 340iGT, a long wheel base hatchback with a dual turbo straight six and four wheel drive.
