  • hardtop with sunroof that opens (or a convertible)
  • a midtoned interior color instead of black or white
  • a choice of interior color on the RT1 and Select
  • heated seats on RT1 and Select (rumor is that it will be, but nothing is concrete now)
  • roof rack
  • trailer hitch
  • Phasers

The interior Light not in all trims only in the AWD, at least in the Europe version

Anyone confirm the pre heating system in all trims? I only saw a heated wire front shield? But I mean a remote set up with an app on your phone to set the time to pre heat your car in freezing mornings. Very comfortable.

I am definitely missing the cooling seats!
I would have liked a retractable cloth sunshades for the panoramic glass roof, but I've been told that the glass does have a "new special" 😄 coating that makes this unnecessary - let's see in real!
(that said, if the takes some space for the head, this is subject to discussion).
I also miss the front fog lamps.

Back seats 40 20 40 to acomodate skis and 4 passangers.
Roof rack.
Extended range battery option on Select trim. Range is King !
Trailer hitch
USB ports on side of the front seats for back passangers. Better location and less likely for cables to get in the way.
Head Up display !

I don't know why Auto manufacturers just don't put mounting points with heli-coil threads so that dealers and OEM accessory manufacturers can install roof rails/racks. The last car manufacturer I recall having this was Saab.

I'd rather have cooling seats than heated items
A sliding pano roof
Carbon fiber black nose cap
For the Premium AWD LR to match Tesla Model Y 0-60 of 4.8 seconds

You do not feel the heat through Tesla's black glass roof so this should not be an issue.

What improvements would you like to see Ford make to the configuration options?
-Cooling seats front and rear
-hitch for bike rack option, this is an SUV type after all.
-heated/cooling rear/front seats
-Manuel & automatic opening of frunk
-frunk cooling system to make it an actual cooler without having to use ice.
-ability to download streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu etc.

@MachDrive x2, I agree with all of these, especially the cooling system. Ford did build in a drain for the frunk, I'm sure at some point giving it the ability to keep things cool crossed someone's mind at Ford HQ.
If it doesn't happen, then maybe an aftermarket solution will become available?

1. The skis flip-down pass-through hatch that the European Mach-Es already get...it's NUTS that we can't get it in the USA!
2. The 1 1/4" trailer hitch that Europeans get (for bikes).

The MME is fine for what it is... Which to me is a compact, around town crossover.
I'm more interested in Ford making OTA updates to improve the car I presently own vs looking ahead to the next version.
One thing is for sure... If Ford moves forward with the Google based Infotainment system but leaves us MME owners stranded with a dead end Sync system, I'll not be purchasing another vehicle from them for a while (and at this stage in my life... maybe never another Ford). What concerns me about Ford as an investor and an owner of one of their vehicles is the prevalence of the tired, industrial age blacksmith/tin knocker mentality that permeates. Jim Farley needs to transform Ford to a transportation technology company.

That all said, what I want is a electric Mustang roadster to compliment the MME. If I want a leisure/lifestyle vehicle (Camping, Biking, Snow Sports, Water Sports...), I'll look for something with higher ground clearance and factory roof rails + tow hitch.
