I see the comment that only a handful of Tesla SCs in CA and NY have been retrofitted so far. Is there a way to find out when others become so modified? I live in PA and want to travel back and forth to northeast Ohio, but need a place to charge to make the round trip. I believe that there are Tesla SCs at the Ohio Turnpike rest stops. Would like to when those would be available to charge my 2022 GT Mach-E.
The only way to know which chargers are modified is the Tesla app. Haven't seen anyone post that you can set it up to notify you of a change in charger configuration though. I'd look to see if I could save locations as favorites, then check them every now and then. They will be converting / installing about 3,500 between now and 12/31/2024.

Thanks. It seems more likely that other, new charging options will become available along that route before Tesla gets around to converting.
Only Tesla knows that answer.

Go into PlugShare. Change network to only show Tesla Supercharger. Change plug to only be CCS.

I've heard from people who tried charging their Mach E with tesla superchargers that It's not a good idea. First, there are only a few tesla superchargers that support non-tesla. If you somehow find one and connect your Mach E physically to the charging station, it will not charge your vehicle, as the charging protocols and software used by Tesla and Ford are different.

Charging a Mach E from a Tesla Supercharger could potentially cause damage to the vehicle's battery or charging system and is not recommended.

To charge a Mach E, you must use a charging station compatible with the vehicle's charging port, such as a CCS (Combined Charging System) charger. Ford also provides its network of charging stations. So, I'd recommend you use a compatible charging point.

I use Plugshare to locate Mach-e compatible charging stations in my area, and you can also find one through this app (It's like google map but specifically for charging stations): Ford Mustang Mach-E Charging Station Map | PlugShare
Your post is mostly wrong and uninformed.
