I always loved the charge port door on those and surprised it came from Ford!
Don't know if the Mach-E has any tricks like although the Mach-E being what it is, IS a massive leap.

Would you be doing a trade-in for the Mach-E or selling the Fusion privately?

I would probably trade it in. The charging port door is funky but it has its issues too. When it gets cold and there is moisture in the pivot point it tends to freeze shut. I'm going to try spraying it with WD40 to see if that helps

I suggest getting grease known to work on automotive hinges which most automotive parts stores should have.

Welcome to the forum @energi1! Are you considering other EVs or is just the Mach-E?

I have been looking at the competition but am a Ford guy so I'm leaning more that way.
