New Mach E HVAC Video

Must be a future UI update. My 2021 FE has latest OTA 3.6.1 and the knob only does volume and the calm screen.

Same here. Not sure what update version I'm on with my 2022 Premium but I assume it is pretty well up to date. Would love to be able to control temperature with a knob - the touch screen can be wonky when trying to adjust it while driving - depending on how bumpy the road is, etc.

The auto button must be selected and you must be in HAVC mode for you to be able to select the cabin temperature, this is how mine works with the latest software, which is 3.6.1.

Doesn’t work like that for me. Perhaps Canadian vehicles have different Sync features?

Maybe I don't have the latest update. At 2:14 in the video you can see the screen. To the far right it says 72º. I assume the next icon to the left puts it in HVAC mode. I've tried from that screen with no luck. Also, earlier in the video, it tells you to press the icon in the upper left corner of the screen. In the video it shows a house or "Home" icon. The only icon I have there is a car. I've tried many different screens, including the navigation screen but I only ever get the car - not a Home icon. Not sure if the video is out of date or if it's me.

Easiest way to change temperature is via voice: Hit the talk button then say set the temperature to xx. Works perfectly since Day 1 with mine. Now if they only add fan speed to the voice menu…..

Even easier now with Alexa.

Thanks - good suggestion! I knew but forgot about that feature. Will start using it this week!

How is Alexa any easier?

I have a smart home. Everything controlled by Alexa. Guess I'm just used to using it. Personal preference.
