Insurance cost

2021+ Ford Mustang Mach-E General Discussion Forum

Anyone have any idea of the insurance cost of an electric vehicle? I've heard but not verified (BIL is an insurance agent) it costs more simply because if the battery is damaged, that is a significant cost to repair, if not total. Anyone with actual experience that drives a BEV?

Ford just announced that they're reassessing when their North American plants can resume production. Ford is not planning to restart their in the US, Canada or Mexico by March 30. At this rate it's looking like the Mach-E launch is getting delayed.
