Definitely the best look yet at these things.

I believe they project down from the mirrors. I saw some earlier pics of these, but this one shows just how crystal clear the logo is. Looks fantastic! And looks fitting of an EV too!

A horse puddle-lamp does in-fact project down from the bottom of the mirror. The one I saw was an all-white light, no blue highlights.
To me, this picture looks like its photoshopped to enhance the brightness of the puddle.

Thanks for pointing that out. It does seem a bit artificial.
Is it at least bright enough in person to help see what we might be stepping on when getting out in dark areas? In the photo it seems to be in a well lit garage.

it was never truly dark enough for me to tell how much illumination happens. It should be bright enough, or else it kinda defeats the purpose.

The stang projection is super cool. It will bring a smile to my face when walking into dark garage. Does anyone have any other pics?

It's been on the other Mustangs for a while now. Super cool is the Cobra projector puddle lamps. I wonder if we can get aftermarket ones for an added personal touch.

Where is the setting? I've seen it one time and can't figure out how to get it to shine.

Are these puddle pony projection lamps standard across all models / packages? The base has manual folding mirrors, so wondering if the pony projector lamps are still included?

My puddle lamps (which are way cool) seemed to quit functioning about the same time I enabled PAAK. Tried it last night in my dark garage approaching with just the key fob, and still nothing.

Tried chatting with a “Ford Guide” through FordPass — he transferred me to a “technical specialist” who suggested calling Ford Marketing’s 800 number, “since the Mach E was such a new model”. Worked through the phone menu selections to talk to a customer specialist who would handle a question about “a model you currently own”. After having to describe what a puddle light was (!), their suggestion was to drive to a dealership. Things seem to be flowing downhill — feeling like we’re out there on our own, friends😀

Does anyone have a suggestion? Is it time to turn off and walk away from PAAK?

As an update: disabled the Phone As A Key, and the puddle lights work every time now. Thats the last straw for me with PAAK!

Also, hearts out to those waiting for delivery and having new supply chain related delays. It’s a great and fun car. Quirks like this one are all manageable learning experiences!

My Audi projects the 4 rings logo and it is crystal clear just like MME. I believe this is what it will look like.

yeah PAAK isn't ready for prime time, BUT, you have to use it to set up the access code if for some reason you lose your fob. Ford should've given two fobs to begin with.

So aware of PAAK and puddle lights, When I got my car a few days ago, BEFORE setting up PAAK, puddle lights worked perfectly. After PAAK set up, they no longer work. Did anyone find a solution to this or is no puddle lights the sacrifice for PAAK.

Also, if you disable PAAK will you still be able to use the access code to drive the car without phone or fob?

They work independently.

the pony only comes out to play when you approach the MMe that is off, locked, and the mirrors are folded in.

It has to be fairly dark to see the pony.

If you disable auto-fold mirrors, no pony.

If you walk in and out of sensor range within a certain timeframe, the pony may not re-display. I guess this is to save battery energy if you happen to be standing too close to the car. Like, in a room adjoining the garage or driveway.

I hope this helps you corral the pony.

This has actually been discussed quite a bit, Many people have identified configuring PAAK as stopping the puddle light functionality, knowing this I paid special attention to it before and after configuring PAAK. BEFORE the puddles lights and the welcoming lights worked EVERYTIME I approached the car(car is setup and autolocks every time), now neither the puddles lights nor the welcome lights work when I approach the car. What others have suggested that works is to disable the PAAK. I'm going to try this and willing to bet they'll start working after that.
