Make sure to keep your arm out of the way so those sensors on the steering wheel top can see your eyes. If not better- Restart the computer: hold down volume down and next song for a few seconds. If not better- yup, trip to dealer.

my dealer told me they fixed it 4 times and still get errors, back for 5th trip to dealer tomorrow.

Do you have a reference you could supply? I just picked up my car yesterday from my 5th trip to the dealership, Ford was involved from a refereal from Ford on this forum, and they only did software updates, no cable replacement. Hopefully the problem doesn't resurface but if it does I would like to have the reference to supply to the dealership and the person at Ford I am dealing with. Thanks.Apparently Ford put out a message to dealers to replace the coaxial cable from the A pillar to the camera in attempts to resolve the front camera fault/Pre collision assist deactivation issue

I was told it's on back order and won't be in until around next week so we'll see.Mine is still unresolved. Ford dealer finally agreed to replace the coaxial cable, but is now on back order. I asked for this more than a month ago. I think we need to become more squeaky wheels.
