Ever?

They just announced it THIS WEEK.

How can a Ford dealer give an IRS credit when the credit is usually determined when you do your taxes?
As I understand the IRS credit is determined at tax time. I thought it depended on your income, some get the credit, some get partial credit, and some get no credit.
Refunds are a different story, some states (such as NJ) give a refund and the dealer marks the car down at purchase time and the dealer is paid by the state.

I forgot to add that my state (NJ) also has an added feature (no sales tax). Also occurring at purchase time. So I got a $5,000 refund, no sales tax ($2,222), but the IRS credit was not given until tax time. I happen too qualify, so my MME cost me less than $30,000.

This thread has nothing to do with the EV tax credit - it's about Ford refunding the price difference since they lowered the 2023 prices effective 1/1/23...
