I'm using Ditschman/Flemington Ford. Last Ford I bought was about 16 years ago so I picked whoever had good ratings and reviews within a reasonable distance.

Yes had a screen shot, and under the General tab there was an ID line with a four digit number, tried that and it didn't work.

Response was... "We are unable to find the VIN you entered. Either the VIN is invalid or no information is available."
Had used this system with no problem before, info would always show up.

Ford is trying to update their system to lock out the third party tracking sites. When they go back to requiring the order number, it's likely that it is only going to work on their site, because it requires a token generated on their page

You can find your order number on the window sticker, which you can look up here: http://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=(put VIN here)

If you look at the bottom where it says ITEM #, if it's in the format XX-ABCD Y/Z X, whatever is in the ABCD sequence is the 4 digit order number. It may contain letters.

Now a days 4px worldwide express tracking is very popular. I am also using this and never face issue.
