I really like white vehicles due to how they hide a lot of dust and dirt, along with water spots.
The Star White Metallic Tri-Coat appeals to me. One can see it on a new Ford Explorer at a Ford dealer,.

Should no Mustang be white? Are there any colors that will truly hurt future resale value?

I don't think resale value would be hurt by the color white; get what you like. I personally prefer flashier colors for a sports car, but that is just my taste.

Thanks...I am beyond 69 and am hoping to “check out” without any tickets. A flashy color may prevent that. Light colors are much safer. There are many many ex motor cycle drivers who would like to return above ground on second chance day to ride with a light or white helmet and a light colored or white motorcycle. Why anyone wears or rides black is beyond me.

Avoiding a ticket or getting your ticket punched permanently because the other driver did not see you in dim lighting or in bad weather.

Not a fan of black either. Love the blue. Love the white. And that glossy gray looks amazing.
I wouldn't really want the red... but a red Mustang just makes sense.

Funny, we have exactly the opposite tastes. I hate the muted colors (white, offwhite, silver, gray, grayblue) and like the colors with pop - red, grabber blue, and black. There's nothing sexier than a woman or sports car dressed in red or black

Don't get me wrong. I just think it looks good in gray or black.. but I've had black cars and they are a pain to keep clean.

I'd prefer mine in something that's really outrageous. Like yellow, green, orange!

So color my world or color my Mustang Mach-E...I would like to see an updated survey of all orders and selected colors that is statistically sound. I am torn between a Star White Premium edition (first order) and a First Edition (picked Red) on my order. KInda like the Iowa Caucus, those who placed the $500 refundable deposits, can change their colors. I do not want to take delivery in 2020 due to our state’s highly stupid personal property tax that is assessed on cars owned at year-end. Taking delivery in late December would be more than a $1,000 mistake.

That is too bad since it would otherwise be ideal for claiming the federal tax credit a year earlier.

I can easily grab the credit in 2021 by eliminating my federal tax withholdings each month. I would hate to make a late 2020 catch-up if my car was delayed after expecting it in 2020. So it is easier and saves me $ by me aiming for an early 2021 delivery.

Just wondering, what state do you live in that charges you yearly property tax on cars?

I had a dentist's wife swing out from a slow moving line of cars, as I was overtaking the line from the fast lane. She told the insurance companies that she never saw me...I was in a black RX8. She put a crease in the right side of my car, and my car ripped her left mirror off. The prior year, a guy backed into my black Plymouth Prowler (at night) with his work truck, while I was parked. Lessons learned?
1. Always have uninsured motorist coverage (he was unemployed, with no insurance...my insurance paid $8,500 to fix my all-aluminum car).
2. Don't paint your car black (he said that he didn't see my car).

Lesson 1: They always say they didn't see you.
I was biking to work on a red bike with yellow panniers, a yellow jacket, and a blinking tail light so bright it hurts your eyes to ride behind me. He didn't see me and didn't start braking until he had thrown me to the side and run over my bike. I believe him. I'm also confident he was distracted.

In another case, a driver changed lanes to go around me and then pulled back over before getting all the way past me, knocking me to the ground. In court she claimed she didn't see me. Total lie.

That said, the last car I would ever buy is Carbonized Gray (i.e. asphalt camouflage). The second would be black (i.e. night camouflage / pop popcorn on dash in summer). I'm getting a Grabber Blue FE. Rapid Red is a close second choice.

Missouri (Missouree); Missourah, or as I sometimes call it ... Missery...
Several decades ago I was in Federal Court in Missouri across the hall was the Las Vegas "Casino" Mob trial. There was the more ring kissing going on than in the Vatican.
