Ford confirmed rumours late last year that its next EV for Europe would be based on Volkswagen's MEB platform and now we're seeing that model testing on public roads for the first time thanks to photos shared with our sister site
vwidtalk.com.
The crossover will share its underpinnings with Volkswagen's ID.4, Audi's Q4 e-tron, and Skoda's Enyak, though we can see in these photos it will wear distinct styling.
The new Ford is expected to slot below the Mustang Mach-E which is already sold in Europe, but we're not expecting the new model to be offered in North America.
Do you like the boxier look of this crossover? If you're in Europe, would you consider this new VW-based EV? If you're in North America, do you wish Ford would bring it here?
