Two or three months ago, while I was driving my Mach E, I noticed on my dashboard a kind of halo around the front of the icon of my car. At the same time, I noticed that if I was getting close to the edge of a lane or if I was driving on a curve in the road, my steering wheel would nudge itself into a more correct position to keep me in line. Recently, I have not had that same experience. I’m trying to figure out if I did something that changed a setting or if something changed after a recent software update. Does this make sense to anyone? Any thoughts?
The "halo" is the indication that adaptive cruise and lane centering are active. Make certain that you have them toggled on in your settings and then a simple push of the on/off button on the left side of the steering wheel activates the functions and sets your speed.
Thanks! I think that's what happened. It's working now. Well, not RIGHT now . . . I'm driving a clown car loaner while my Mach E is in for the windshield/roof recall. Getting it back tomorrow and can't wait!
