Tesla competitor Polestar 2 will start at $59,900 in the US
The all-electric Polestar 2 will start at $59,900 in the US and arrive this summer.

This was the car that I was originally looking at before Ford announced the MMe. The biggest negative on being in early is the total lack of "dealers" in the area. Last time I checked there were three in California one south LA, San Jose and Marin north. None in Nevada or southern Utah. $59,900 + Paint $1200, ventilated seats $4000, 20inch Wheels $1200, Performance $5000. Total $71400 which is definitely not in the MMe price category. Right now they're offering 0% on financing and leasing but nothing on whether the $7500 tax credit would be passed on to the lessee.New review of the Polestar 2. Robert Llewellyn loves it. He struggled to not say it was better than the Tesla Model 2 but came really close. If it weren't for the Supercharger network, he would have definitely said it was the best.
