When he installed mine, he mentioned that he had just installed the same charger for someone who ordered the Mach E in red. You mentioned your dealer and the Central Hudson rebate so I guessed it might have been you.

Yep, very neat, tidy work. Highly recommend for anyone in the Dutchess/Ulster area.

When are you getting your MME and which one did you order?

End of Feb or early Mar. Infinite Blue Premium 4XE. Actually my wife's car. She puts on the most miles as she does go into the office and her job has her driving all over Dutchess county. I am working from home probably at least until the end of Summer (only have a 4 mile commute anyway).
The Ford dealer changed ownership since the last time we owned a Ford. Friendly Auto Group now. They're good. A much better experience so far.

The included EVSE can only use 30 amps, which gives you about 20 miles range per hour.

However, the MMe’s built-in 11.5 kW charger can use up a to 48a EVSE, which is purchased separately. Then you get about 30 miles range per hour.

Here is a link to another thread on home charging:

RJ says thanks. Since I purchased the standard battery, getting 20 mi. per charging hour is all that I need for an over night charge. 10 hours= 200 miles which will fill my tank and I don't want to spend the extra $ right now. However, I do want to install a 48 amp 240 v outlet so when Ford gets to ~ 500 miles of range, I'll be wired to handle it. So, would there be a problem using Ford's standard cord on a 48 amp circuit ? Thanks RJ :)

From what I understand, a 14-50 outlet should not be on a circuit more than 50amps.

60amps and above are hardwired applications. (As is my ChargePoint Flex)

If you are looking to upgrade that circuit to 60 amps in the future, then it will depend on the wire gauge. Check with your electrician.

I turned it off for now 😬
I absolutely love one-pedal driving! I can count on one hand the about of times I've had to use the brake pedal in the past week. It's become a game :ROFLMAO:

Once you have taken delivery, please join us and enter the following information about your new Mach-E:

Step 1
: Complete Short Form Here
Step 2: Confirm entry in this discussion thread, preferably with a photo of your new Mach-E!
Step 3: View Results

A few reasons to join the effort:
  • The last 6 digits of the Mach-E VIN comprise a sequential identifier. To track any issues from particular build dates, it may be useful to gather these numbers and compare if/when any issues arise.
  • Confirming the locations of the delivered orders will help facilitate regional groups and events
  • Comparing the configurations of delivered vehicles as time goes on vs. the configurations of orders by early adopters
  • Community. After waiting so long for the Mach-E, it is great to see the cars finally delivered.

Welcome @2Ponies!
What has your experience been like with one-pedal driving so far?
Any likes/dislikes with how it functions?
I just test drove the Mach E today and it was set on one pedal driving when I started drIrving. I do not like it, felt like the parking brake was on, as a matter of fact, I kept checking if the parking brake was on. When I turned one pedal driving off, the car seem to have 1000% more power. I am not a fan after my first drive with the technolog. On the other hand the car was incredible! Felt like a solid built car, the build quality is definitely there.

Finally! My MME4X in my hands. Not a problem with it so far! As soon as I come back to earth I will write something up.

Excellent work, Ford!

Hi,
The last mustang I owned was a 1998 Saleem Mustang. I guess that I should show you a better picture…
Here is my new Mustang. I received it on Monday the 15th. I’m very happy with it. It really turns a lot of heads. It’s a Premium Rear Wheel Extended battery model.
And yes, I was doing drive buys to show my friends and I put drinks in my Front Trunk...

I know that there has been a lot of talk about the dealers response to this car. I live in Orange County California and Villa Ford has been very responsive. The person who I was dealing kept me informed. They also have 2 specialists trained on this car. We had issue with getting my wife connected to the car and they helped us with it. They don’t know everything but when I ask they questions they said that they would get back to use. This is understandable because this is new for everyone. It takes time. It’s a work in progress for all of us.

I’m confused on why Ford designed the Front Trunk Separator the way they did. Actually I’m not sure why the put a divider in the middle one. The issue is that in order to take it out you have to physically remove the entire divider to remove it (those tabs are as pain). My neighbor and I put our heads together and came up with a solution. I cut off the upper tabs so I can move the center divider up and down and then I notched it out to allows me to remove it. It’s plastic so it was easy. I think Ford should consider making this modification. It’s only a plastic mold…

Just received our Racing Red Limited 2RD Extender Mach-e. We are so excited and the card is wonderful.

Had one scare yesterday as we were going through all the options. After about an hour, we got "hardware Failure" on XM radio. We tried numerous including powering of the MME a couple of times. Figured our first call to the dealer was set.

Then this AM after topping off the charge last night, XM radio was back. Hope this was a freak thing.

Only other flaw, one end of the passenger hand hold came out and would not stay in when pushed. A reason for the dealer.

Hi I am new to this forum. I received my Mach E two weeks ago. I had a very hectically time the last two weeks, so still learning a lot. It is my first EV. I switched from a BMW 320. I also own a Ford Explorer and a Harley Davidson.
My Mach E (premium RWD, Standard range) drives grate. I have several glitches on the screen, with the phone as a key and with the Bluetooth connection. I still have not installed a charger, as I do approx. 50-80 miles a day, which makes the 110 efficient for now. I have an electrician coming this week to install the 220 plug and I will use the supplied charger.

When I went out to my car last night, I was greeted by the lighted pony on the ground! To the designer who created this, well done. Such a small feature that put a huge smile on my face. 😎😊
I rented a Mustang convertible a few month back, did the same thing. Here I just know it only goes on when it wants to. It should be the greeting/welcoming function, but this only works so many times and so often.
