Ford dealers are notorious for markups but not all do it. I probably contacted 20+ dealers across the Pacific Northwest before finding and AWD that was actually available at MSRP. I discovered that dealerships in more rural areas (relatively speaking) offered better deals than ones closer to the city. The relatively rural dealership I bought from was clearly more interested in selling trucks and the one Mach E they had wasn’t a hot commodity for their local clientele. No joke, I actually got it for $1,500 under MSRP because they just wanted to sell it. Only had 80 miles, it wasn’t a demo or anything. Dealers in Portland and Seattle metro areas were charging minimums of $2,500 over and up to like $7,000.
I saw a TV add for "The Ford Store - Morgan Hill" (near San Jose, CA). They advertised no-ADM, and when I asked, they said that they do honor the X-program. They ballparked the savings to somewhere in the $500-1k range.
