No kidding saw a guy towing a small teardrop camper with his Mach-E in northern California in early July '22

It was not a high trim car, it had a 2" U-Haul hitch, he said it got about half the range. Pulling in to DC chargers looked like a chore and probably required careful planning.

Also isn't an approved vehicle to tow, so if the owner has any issues, such as an accident, court won't be fun.

There's no such thing as "approved to tow" - this point and the court and insurance / fun police stuff has been beaten to death in other forums.
