Does anyone know if Ford is planning software updates like Tesla? One of the best things about Tesla is they are constantly updating their cars with new software. It makes you feel you are learning something new about your car every few months. Is Ford going to do this or is it going to be like a normal car where you get the software it comes with, and it will be outdated in a few years but you would have to pay extra to get new updates.

I figured they would. Its quite possibly the easiest way to add value.

Just a matter of coding up the changes.
true. but as the article said, dealers and service centers are going to be fighting it tooth and nail. If you never have to bring your car in whats going to happen to their revenue stream? Ford has to support the old model of dealers and service centers unlike Tesla. I wouldnt be surprised if the Ford dealer tries to mark up your car from MSRP or puts in lots of "fees" when you pick it up just so they can get something out of it.
