More than one person has said this. Can I ask why? Is it because of the price point of the vehicle? If so, isn't some of that cost related to the powertrain? Or is making a ICE vehicle the same cost as a EV now?
Typically batteries are very expensive which drives up the cost of an EV vehicles. Ventilated and heated seats should be pretty much standard at a car of this price point.

The reason that it's at this price point is the very expensive batteries though. Adding on more features just makes it an even higher price point.
Cooled seats is something I probably would be interested in. I think I've only been driving one rental car that had it in the past, although I've been in what seemed like mid-range cars that have it now (Mazda is one, I think). I wonder what the price adder would be for something that seems to be more commonplace. Certainly as an option or included in some other "luxury package" it would be nice to have. Maybe Ford isn't looking to complicate things this early in the process. It might be just another headache for them at this point in a new model launch.

Also, they recommend heated seats instead of running the cabin heat to save range. Would the same apply for cooled seats?

That is the point I was trying to make.

It's not just the increase in the price of the car either. It's increase the support costs of the car, including warranty repair, supply chain for spare parts, documentation, engineering, etc. My only point is that it is too simplistic to say, "other cars at this price have this so this car should too".

It's not just other cars, it is other BEV's that have it in this price range. Heated seats in a BEV are not a luxury as the range impact of heating the whole cabin vs heated seats is significant. It is also ludicrous that it is not an option in the select or route 1

That's fair.

One of the reasons I didn't even consider the select was the lack of heated seats. I need them for my dry eye.

I suppose they had to have something to make the premium, premium. The select with options is almost the same as the premium (except heated seats). I suppose they could have traded and gave the select heated seats but removed the hands free lift gate as an option.

Out of boredom and excitement...what is something you wish Ford would change or add to Mach E? One thing I wish is, 300 miles seems pretty whimpy for a 98.8 kWh battery! I’m hoping that will change when the final product is released.
Leather seat

Cooled seats on the premium and get the 0-60 down to 5 flat and the 210 range up to 250. All weather floor mats.

First: I would like to see Ford jump ahead of Tesla by using solid state batteries Technology!!!
Second: A question I keep asking but never seem to get and answer to is “when will Ford be bringing out a Mustang Mach E cobra!!!

3. An option to replace the frunk with a 15-20 ekW genset. Only then I would take this on a road trip.
I am not disagreeing with you, but I wonder if you have owned an electric car. I have 10k miles on one, with limited range, and I find that driving distances and using DC Fast Chargers actually works way better than most people think. As well as Level 2s at hotels, for example.

I think that 300 mile range will be fine for long distance trips, if the MME has 300, and as the EA charging network continues to expand.

And I agree that HUD would be great!

Absolutely. Except for the Rapid Red, it's nearly all shades of black/white/gray. Even the Infinite Blue looks more gray than blue. And the Grabber Blue (which looks like baby blue to me) is only on limited trims.

They need some real "color" colors. Dark Highland Green. Saber Gold. Lightning Blue.
Agreed and one of the reasons I reserved Grabber Blue FE.

The other thing I want is a tow hitch. It doesn't have to haul a big travel trailer, just a 1-1/4" to fit a bike carrier or maybe a lightweight utility or toy-hauling trailer.
