I know on the reservation pages, for all models, there aren't much in the way of options to pick from. Its basically color, interior color, battery size, and floor mats.

My question is, When people have been converting to orders, are there more options to choose from, or is what we see at the reservation site basically it?

No, those are the only options.

The GT may be the exception once ordering opens up.

@c-max , Would you happen to remember what they are, offhand?
yes, I think.....on my Select model I got the comfort/appearance pkg.....it includes heated front seats, heated steering wheel, black painted roof, 19in wheels, hands free liftgate, memory seats, I might be forgetting one.....the other pkg, I think is called comfort/technology, I believe it contains the comfort pkg + a variety of additional tech stuff......remember these are available only on the Select model (am pretty sure)

on the Select model you can choose between the comfort/appearance pkg OR the comfort/tech pkg (I believe this is the correct name).....the comfort/appearance pkg is an additional $2300, the comfort/tech, I am not sure, maybe $2300 or $2600???

.....the comfort/appearance pkg also has cargo area cover.....the comfort/tech pkg has Ford co-piolet 360 active 2.0 prep pkg, active drive assist, active park assist, 360 degree camera with split view and front washer, plus the options I listed for the comfort/appearance pkg....not 100% sure of price w/ comfort/tech.....the com/appear pkg is definitely $2300

Does anyone know if you can add the copilot 360 and active drive assist prep package later on? I’m thinking no, or it would be expensive later on because you would probably need to add all the cameras for 360 view? Thoughts? Do not need the panoramic roof/heated seats/hands free lift gate etc. The dealer was clueless.

I highly doubt that Ford would offer it as a mid-life vehicle upgrade.
Even if you could buy all the parts and do the HW upgrade yourself, the SW may be configured per factory installed options based on the VIN and not recognize the HW you've installed. If it's important to you... best to order a model with the capability to begin with, Premium, GT... or Select with the options.

I don’t know if its worth it. The package costs $2,600. Its always cheaper to have options added when the car is built.

Easy example is there are different side mirror housing kits with the package. Lets say these run $1,000. (housing, mirror, motor, camera, etc) and the standard mirror assembly costs $800. The $200 difference is part if the package. If you try to do it afterwards, you would be paying the full $1,000 for each mirror assembly.

Put it this way... when has Ford EVER offered adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, automatic braking, etc, etc, as a dealer installed option?

My current cars radar required calibration when they replaced my bumper cover. They had to call in a specialist. Even though it seems to work fine, I am still leary of it.
