I like Subaru but what's with that timeline, they might as well say we may or may not launch an EV at this point. I wonder what research/testing on their end needs almost 5 more years. That's way too late to go electric imo.

I think Subaru will eventually become a Toyota brand.

What happens to Mazda? Their investments have primarily been on ICE engines. I think the RX and Miata names carry a lot of recognition. I'd buy an inexpensive, BEV roadster.

Mazda has the MX-30 BEV. But its range is not great. Doubt we will se many, if any, state-side.
