I have had a large number of charging errors on multiple chargers both at home and on the road over the last few weeks. I have a 22 GT.

My home charger is a Chargepoint and it stopped charging a few weeks ago and I took it into the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. This charger has worked without error on this car for since I got it about 9 months ago. Then over the last few days I was on a road trip and I had 3 different fast charger would start and them stop either after a few seconds and some after a few minutes. 2 were EA chargers (150kW)and one was a Chargepoint (60kW) all in different locations.

Having these errors makes it so I cannot trust to take my car on a long trip. Not good. The frequency is increasing so I expect a catastrophic failure soon.

I need some help and direction on this since I am sure if I bring it back to the dealer again they will just say they cannot find anything.

I've been fighting to get charging errors fixed for at least a year. Same issue, the dealer could not duplicate the error. I finally got it fixed today, by replacing the receptacle and cable. This has worked for some others on the forum as well, so it is possible your issue is related to a bad receptacle.

Higher amp level 2 chargers were more likely to cause it to fail, my dealer had a low amperage car charger which made it hard for them to detect. I turned down my home charger from 40 amp to 32 amps and it helped for a while. It recently got worse, so they were able to see it, even on a 32 amp charger.

Picture of replaced part - it's attached to a bunch of the wiring harness, it all has to be changed as one unit.

Thank you for the information. This is very helpful.

It sounded like you were having problems mainly with L2 charges. I am wondering if this also was showing up with L3 chargers. Mine is worse with L3 chargers.
My problem was overheating with L2 chargers for the most part, L3 chargers still worked for me until recently, when the problem got worse. Then I experienced charging stops on L3 chargers as well.
