With all of the price cuts of the mach-e - how many are under water?

snark isn’t necessarily required. Ford has announced another cut $13K to mach-e prices.

“The Mustang Mach-E GT's price drops from $60,000 to $47,000 with new discounts combined with the $3,750 federal tax credit.”

there’s depreciation and then there is predatory pricing that negate your ability to sell your car.

i didn’t buy it as an investment- but every year ford has cut prices. and not by a small amount.

The price differentials on the Tesla Model Y are much worse. In '22, the Y was getting price increases every few months without any tax credit (one of the reasons I avoided the Y). Now, the price is drastically lower.
Yeah, prices are dynamic lately and tax credits change. I plan to keep my MME for > 10 years, so it's all water-under-the-bridge for me.

This is how much at least Ford is probably taking care of leasing companies by sending them Checks lol. But screw the average person car paid like
70k for is now worth like 25/30k it’s a joke.

Man I wish I knew. I have asked Ford they don’t give two craps so at this point if they don’t care then I guess I’m just going to have to force them to care by listening to me. Trust me they will feel the pain eventually I’m not the average idiot who just will let them try to walk all over me. I actually know a thing or two about electronics hence why they got investigated by the NHSTA. Sound familiar??? Yeah even spoke to the investigator myself personally so yeah Ford just sucks look at there quality control issues it’s a mess. They have people basically with degrees but clearly not great track records. I would fire every last one of my quality control personnel and replace them. Then maybe Jim Farley can get this issue under wraps. Allowing the quality assurance shop to go at this rate it’s almost unfortunate thing because eventually someone will get killed and it won’t be funny anymore. But yeah Ford sucks bottom line thought the 2023 was going to be better it actually broke down faster then the 2022 one lol FML my official opinion kudos to people who don’t have problems I only speak for rest of us who have the extended range duds lol

.. And the pandemic time was a total anomaly for both new and used car prices. I bought a new car for my daughter in March 2020 and got a fantastic price as very few people were shopping at that time and there was a full inventory of cars. A year later, you could barely find a new car on the lot and used car prices sky-rocketed. We are finally getting back to some kind of balance in the market where you expect to see new cars on the lot and dealers negotiate (if applicable).
