Darren Palmer should just STFU until MME notably demonstrates its build quality.
The new Explorer has had 10 recalls in a year! This is like an F student calling another kid stupid.

Ford is clueless. My MachE is a pile of junk set up on a pretty good battery and drive system. The rest of the car is a giant failure. Ford should focus on there pos, before knocking others.

LOL , tell us what you really think. I couldn't be happier with mine, superb fit and finish, and no issues thus far, only three plus months so far so not a long record.

Tesla has got a significant longer presence in the EV, they seem to do it well. Tho year after year the quality issues with the model 3 identified in every survey, tesla can't seem to be bothered to fix it.

Haha 😂 I like the car mechanically but cannot understand how a key and infotainment system can be so bad. Cars already been in for recall for the PAAK, Still spotty at best, almost never works if the phone is in my pocket or not held right next to the door. Though when I walk out to take the dogs for a walks and I’m 12 feet from the car, all the lights come on to welcome me 😒. Awesome, if I don’t need to get into the car the key works great. Apple play is a giant waste of time, the am antennae is terrible, the profile settings mean nothing. The sound setting is different every time I enter the car and so much more. Too tired of crying just need to return the car after two more visits to the shop. Already been in twice for the same stuff. Oh well, maybe I just got the bad one, though a lot of people seem to have issues with the infotainment and key.

But there is a difference. Tesla’s problems are not of a recall nature but rather simple quality control. Today I read an article (with photos) of wretched quality issues in fit and finish... mis aligned trim, panels. To top it off the purchaser attempted to refuse the car and was told that was no longer possible as the previous 7 day return policy was no longer in effect. Note that this was apparently an X delivery in Hong Kong. The interior of the car was filthy with creases in the leather seats as shown in the pix. This may be an outlier but I’d sure be concerned.
Quality control issues, especially if they affect fit and finish, can be concerning. It's important for Tesla to address these matters promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Anecdotal stories from Hong Kong don't prove anything. Tesla ranks number one in China's customer satisfaction surveys on number of problems. My Model Y (2years old) has had zero fit and finish problems, or mechanical or electronic issues. Tesla has cleaned up their act on fit and finish a while ago, a few individual problems don't represent the whole. Many reports mean an issue exists, very true a few years ago with Tesla. The same logic applies here for Ford.

Customer satisfaction surveys in China (Really?????. wonder who and how they are done!) vs. Consumer Reports.

You decide!

China has a huge EV market, why wouldn't there be customer satisfaction surveys? Note that an American company's car, Tesla Model Y, came out on top.

It's strange that they say that the Model Y doesn't have a "proper" blind spot warning. Signal a lane change and you get a picture of the entire blind spot area, plus any hazard car next to you is red on
the screen, and if you actually move toward a hazard car at any time, it does a crazy loud beeping warning.
