Mach-E order bank delayed until June

I've been hearing rumors that Mach-E ordering has been delayed to June rather than originally starting in May. It sucks that we'll have to wait a little bit longer to actually place orders, but with everything that's going on with Coronavirus I'm sure we can all wait an extra month. Has anyone else heard similar rumors or anything from their dealer?

Nope. Just the rumors you're describing from the other Forum and the feedback on both fora that people aren't hearing much of anything from their dealers yet.
Hmm that's interesting. Well if it is true, an extra month isn't exactly the end of the world if it means a smoother process for orders.

Along with Norway, apparently the Netherlands are going to be a "high priority" for Mach-E deliveries in Europe.

(Translated from Dutch)

Netherlands is namely a high priority when it comes to delivery of the new Mustang Mach E . “Because the addition for electric cars will change to 12% again next year, the Netherlands has a sort of priority status when it comes to deliveries. And so we are confident that the Mustang Mach will appear in our country this year ”, says Sebastiaan van de Pol, PR manager of Ford Netherlands, to Autovisie.

A Dutch user on one of the Mach-E Facebook groups says his delivery date is expected for Week 52. Which would be at the end of December/beginning of January.

This is the message I got last week (first "real" communication since I ordered back in November).

It says:

Your reservation is confirmed

Hi,
Please know that we are doing our utmost to limit the impact of the health crisis on your reservation.
Your reservation is well confirmed, and we will keep you informed as soon as you can confirm your order in order to be one of the first French customers to receive your Mustang Mach-E.

---
As you can see, there is no date mentioned anymore... I don't take this as a good sign...
Was there any other information in the email? Did you have to do anything else?

It is now official, the Mach-E is delayed (at least in France)! 😢

Just got this few minutes ago...

English translation:

We would like to thank you for your patience and hope that you and all your loved ones are doing well.
We are doing our utmost to get our plants back in operation while making the safety of our employees and customers our top priority.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 has disrupted our production plants, which will result in a delay in the delivery of your Ford Mustang Mach-E. Deliveries to France are now scheduled to begin in early 2021, and as one of the first customers to have booked it, you are of course given priority.

The production of the first prototypes has started just before the lockdown and we are particularly confident about the quality of the final product. Indeed, we continue to make improvements to the Mustang Mach-E and are confident that it will exceed all your expectations.

We will keep you informed soon of new information regarding your 100% electric SUV.
They just announced the same thing for the Netherlands

The Mach-E order bank is expected to open on June 22 for dealers and June 24 for customers.

I think it means you can convert your reservation to an order via your dealer, starting on June 22. An online option for you to perform the order conversion directly with Ford begins June 24.

I don't know from where @ReturnOfTheMack is sourcing this June 24 date?

Anyway, I'm hoping Ford will officially let us know more details very soon. I will probably wait for online order conversions to begin, and want to take my time to check out the options and final specifications.
I saw the June 24 date on another forum. The way I read it was that dealers will have access to it a couple of days before the rest of us do.

Why would a dealer have preference in the system over reservation holders? The dealers could eat up a good chunk of the available units.
I just mean in terms of training with the system and getting used to it, not actually getting units before reservation holders. It's just a rumor I heard, I can be completely wrong about it.
