My guess here (and it's a theory for some time in my head) is that they use SAP and these are incremental numbers each time someone click on the button on the website to reserve. Of course cancellation and people who don't take the full reservation process make the number less relevant. But we still can say that we have the number of reservation in the spreadsheet (I didn't count). Maybe it would be a good idea to add the number of actual reservation btw.

Actual reservation numbers are given after you submit payment. There is a temporary alphanumeric session ID given before that point. which is disposable if you don’t complete the process.
That said, the only gaps in the sequence would be any paid-reservation cancellations that occur.
I think the decision to hold back on reservation data came in after orders were already coming in. As they say, too late to close the fence if the horses are running through the fields.

The Livewire is a blast to ride. 0-60 in 3 seconds. I leave every vehicle behind when the light turns green. I hope the MME is just as fast. BTW, I'm keeping the P-51 when the MME-GT arrives!
Nice! Have you owned other Harleys before? Seems like the Livewire is definitely not for the traditional HD guy.

This is my 5th new Harley bought over the years so I guess you can call me a traditional Harley person. My question is why is Livewire not for the traditional HD person? The one downside of the Livewire is the MSRP, way overpriced compared to other EV motorcycles. If the price was at least 5K lower I could see this bike bought as a second bike for Harley riders.

The sound!

Potato - potato - potato
LOL, yes no loud pipes but then again the Livewire is the fastest bike off the line than any stock Harleys. We can expand this to say the MME is not for the traditional Mustang person because of the sound. Bottom line, both ICE and EV performance vehicles are fun to drive or ride.

I must be the exception: My first new car was a 1966 Mustang GT 289 HI-P0, 4 on the floor, Rallye Pack, disc brakes, British Racing Green with black convertible top (manual to save weight) and black interior. I installed shoulder straps as all the car came with were seat belts - front only. When the the Goodyear Blue Steaks wore out put radial Michelins all around.

Probably the best car I ever owned: Unfortunately three winters of driving in Syracuse with salt on the road everyday, the car rusted out.

But I wish I had it now, when I can afford a full restoration!

So to me Ford Mustangs have always been special and why I put a deposit down on a First Edition!

I just DO NOT see the usual Harley guys loving the Livewire. I feel like they are the same sort who hate on anyone who calls the Mach-E a Mustang.
Again, I'm generalizing. It's always refreshing to see people who don't think that way.

To be honest though, I bet most Harley riders are not going to get electric bikes and wouldn't consider one. And Harley can use that to their advantage by expanding their customer base. The problem, as you mentioned, is the price.

Then again, I'm sure most folks have never heard of Energica or Zero.

I understand where your coming from. I know from all the ribbing I've been getting from my Harley friends. But what is funny after they ride my Livewire they understand what an EV can do. They all come back with big grins over their faces!

We're going to get the same from Mustang people. I've been getting it already from members in my Mustang club. I hope Ford can get the 0-60 time in the MME-GT to the low 3's. In the meantime I just show them this drag race between a Livewire and Tesla Model 3 and tell them the MME is around the same.

I put in my reservation for the First Edition, Rapid Red on 11/17/2019. My reservation is confirmed. My registration number is 100058XX.

I made a reservation directly in a ford dealership on 11/19/2019 for a premium awd, but I can’t find any registration number.

In the US, we received an email confirming reservation and providing a number. You might not have received a reservation number in Canada as your reservation system was quite different.

There are two reservation trackers, one you fill in yourself:

The other is an offline sheet @Moose has maintained. I haven't seen an update to this since this version was posted with reservations through 3/31:

Either way, a reservation made on 11/19 would probably have an equivalent number of 12,000-15,000 depending on time of day and which reservation series the computers assigned you (they seemed to have about 3 1000 number series running in parallel).
